Film Update...

We went to Anne's (Deputy Director) church last sunday (st james') which was very good and yesterday we went to Leonards (Relief & Welfare) which was very lively and loud!- but great!

The film is going very well apart from the fact that im having lots of problems with my laptop. It keeps freezing and skipping which has never happened before and makes it very very hard to edit anything! Because of this, I doubt i will have the film ready before i leave here so i will have to try and get it finished on tour- please pray for it.

My mum is having a wonderful time, she is teaching Leonard loads of things about the assesments as well as doing them herself. I might be going with her today but I'm not sure yet.

We have both found the experience of being here so good. I feel I've learnt so much from the people here about christian living and service to other people.

First Week at IcFEM-Mission

Things could not be better- I love it out here and never want to leave. I have seen things that I would never have imagined and just being here has given me such a new perspective on life.

The film is coming along well- Once the staff had put the plans together for the film I met with a few people and we decided I was to make a general film about the IcFEM child sponsorship programme. I have followed a girl who can’t go to school due to lack of fees for a day and a boy who is in standard 7 but after standard 8 will need sponsorship if he is to continue. The film will be able to be used for various different things.

I have been touched by everything going on and will definitely be back- hopefully for much longer next time!
